Life360 Introduces Centralized Notification Center to Keep Families Better Connected

San Francisco, Calif. – October 8, 2014 – Life360, the leading Family Network, today announced an integrated Notification Center that shows an at-a-glance feed of the family’s daily activities and real-time alerts so users can seamlessly stay connected to the most important people in their lives. Now notifications of activities and check-ins are shared in a centralized family activity feed, bringing peace of mind and effortless awareness to the over 42 million families around the world who use Life360.
Whether it is knowing a child has arrived safely to school or seeing that a spouse has left the office, families who receive Place Alerts, Check-ins and Messages will now be able to view them all in a single feed within the app, and can message one another directly from the alert.
As part of the announcement, Life360 has also created a frictionless way for iOS 8 users to receive alerts when they are not in the app. Life360’s new Today widget and interactive notifications brings the family to the phone’s home screen by providing alerts directly to the home screen along with the ability to message other members in a seamless experience.
